EMILY MOSES
INTERN
Hello, I’m Emily!
I am drawn to work that embraces nuance and mess: projects that are process oriented, cross-pollinated, community driven, and attentive to histories and changes in life of all forms. This is what brought me to landscape architecture and continues to inform my own process which is grounded in deep listening, embodied methods, and play.
My background in anthropology inspires me to design for community needs and encourage opportunities for connection, art making, and ritual. My professional work as a gardener has given me appreciation for the love, labor, and attentiveness that goes into installing these spaces.
Some of my favorite things include lounging lakeside, teaching and practicing yoga, movin’ and groovin’ with friends, and listening to aspen leaves quake in the wind.
Favorite tree: River birch, Betula nigra
