Katie is a landscape designer and associate at Ten x Ten. Driven to make with purpose and with others, she most values work that is cross-disciplinary, collaborative, and inclusive. With a background in interior architecture and fashion, her design experience ranges from the body scale and the detail to the master plan and the region. She is interested in the physical and phenomenological aspects of the built environment, in the cultural and physical significance of materials, and in the opportunities landscapes present to connect, teach, and heal.

Katie has experience as a designer both in the US and the Netherlands. Prior to Ten x Ten, Katie was a landscape designer at Wolf | Josey Landscape Architects, where she helped realize a number of institutional and residential projects in Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic. Katie holds a BS in Interior Architecture from Cornell University and an MLA from the University of Virginia, where she co-founded UVA’s first women in design group, manifestA, and was a University Olmsted Scholar and recipient of the Student ASLA Honor Award in Collaboration.
